Annie, I've thought the same thing for years. Who do I know well enough to get rid of my facial hair if I'm in the hospital? I would love to go camping with my family and get out of the tent and see the sunrise without rushing to the shower with my razor to make sure I'm presentable before I see anyone. I have only been reading this information about PCOS tonight. I'm going to make an appointment ASAP to tell my Gynecologist what is causing these symptoms. I've also tried Laser Electrolysis and although it helped for a few weeks and was able to remove more hair than regular electrolysis in a shorter amount of time, I haven't been able to see any long term help. I was back to shaving soon because of the cost of the laser treatments and the idea that they weren't really permanent. Sorry I don't have any better news but I hope I will find a treatment soon.
