Now what? :-(

Now what?? Called my docs office today. I was told that a GTT & Insulin is only needed when glucose & insulin tests performed alone are abnormal. My results on glucose & insulin were in the normal range; however...is it true that a GTT is only necessary when results of glucose & insulin are abnormal? Or, would it be wise to pursue other avenues...like searching for a new physician? This is all so discouraging! Anyone else feel the same?

Also, how bad is diet soda when your on a low-carb diet? Although there are no carbs, I've heard that the sweeteners can do harm....is that true? Thanks! Alexis
