2 Questions

I have two questions: 1. If PCOS is genitically linked, does that mean that our sons are as likely to be insulin-reisitant as our daughters? 2. If we follow a low carb. eating plan is there still a reason to try glucophage? I'm not clear about the biology here. Is it that our bodies make too much insulin in response to what might otherwise seem like a normal amount of carbohydrates n our diets? Or is it that we make too much insulin regardless of the presence or absence of carbohydrates in our diet?
