Re: Are dizzy spells (vertigo) with PCOS common?

What you are experiencing could be attributed to you insulin levels being off. You would experience this when your insulin has finally been successful in gaining entrance to the cell and carrying the glucose with it. Your body is depleted of the glucose and you experience symptoms of low blood sugar. This will not always happen so if you go in to get your sugar tested, there is a possibility that nothing would be found. You need a glucose tolerance test with insulin levels drawn.

You also need a dr who can explain what genetic factor will explain dizzy spells on level ground and by what neurological pathways nerves can cause the same problem. :-)

I can understand the allergy explaination. There is logic to it if your inner ear is involved.
