Nethermind,

Hhmmm, what do I tell you? I have had most if not all the outward symptoms of PCOS since puberty thirty years ago, but was not officially told until last year about PCOS. For the past dozen years or so, I had been told idiopathic hirsutism. I got married in my early thirties; so the ob/gyn warned me I might not be very fertile due to my age. Well, I may have PCOS, but I am fertile! Many of us have problems with fertility, but not all PCOS women. I am one of the lucky ones -- to have gotten pregnant and beared children easily (other than C-sections <grin>). I have conceived and given birth three times with no medicinal assistance -- no Clomid at all. My point is that it may very well be difficult for you, but I am here to tell you that it is possible to still be fertile. There is hope! (Just keep checking reality, too.) Good luck!
