Hello to all-

I adore my doctor for trying to help me but the man doesn't really know much about PCOS or Met (although to his credit he is trying to learn.) Anyway I have a few things that are troubling me and wondering if anyone can help...? First, I have been on Met since December 2nd, and increased my dosage up to 1500mg/day at the beginning of February, about 2 months ago. Ever since I went up to 1500, the sickness and diarrhea have been unbearable. Some days I can't even leave the house, I live on immodium. I expected this, but I am concerned that it doesn't seem to be lessening after 2 months. Could it still be the met? Or have I just had a lingering tummy bug for this long? Secondly, I know a lot of women here hate being on bcp but I looooved the way I felt on mine and I miss it! I also haven't had a period since December (when I started the Met.. ???) Hubby and I are moving to a new state and trying to get organized and settled down in new jobs, so not conceiving for a month or two would be fine. I REALLY want to back on my bcp for a month or two, to encourage my body to feel good and healthy again, but my doctor discourages this. Can you take them with Met? Is it safe to just pick a day and open up a pack and take them? Does anyone have any other suggestions, if this is unsuitable for me? Thanks so much - you girls are amazing, what a resource! Hugs to all, and good health....
