This next to the infertility, has been the worst symptom. I started having thinning hair at age 15 (along with all other PCOS symptoms--and now at 32, just diagnosed with PCOS. I gave up on treatments and elected to go the faux hair (wig) route. What liberation and freedom. The real hair wigs these days are far from the old "timey" wigs. You cannot tell the difference. It's great--you can change styles, color etc. I spend 5 minutes on my hair and it looks great--and best of all--no one knows except my relatives--but who cares. Once you make the decision it is truly liberating! There are great wholesale websites for wigs--let me know if you want some more info!
