Amy I get those ALL the time. It helps to make sure you eat somethign substantial about a half hour before your workout. Perhaps substantial isn't the word really, I just mean something that's not carbohydrate or sugar, so it won't spike your blood glucose. Then, during the workout, carry glucose tabs or juice, like leeza said. Check out any info you can find about the glycemic index - I haven't heard much about it on this board but it really helps me keep my hypoglycemia under control! Some foods cause crashes, some don't. Oh, and if you're not used to 'feeling' what your blood glucose is like, it might be helpful to rent a bg monitor for a week or two, and test it during the day and throughout your workout. Then you can learn to recognize what high or low blood sugar feels like - a lifesaver, probably literally :) Anyway good luck-
