OKay If I am following what you wrote below: You've been bleeding since December and you went to the Doctor in Jan. He said every was okay and you when to see him again a week ago and saw the NP instead.

Not only was the doctor less than helpful, he implied that you were not going to be able to have kids because of the PCOS

First of all it is NOT Normal to be bleeding for three months! In fact it is unhealthy. You need to find a doctor who is going to listen to your health concerns.

There are many PCOS friendly doctors out there. You didn't say where you were at so I can't point you to a resource in your area. If you are in Houston I have a few doctors that i would be more that happy to recommend.

Things to think about when you evaluate your appointments with your doctors can include:

1. Did the doctor listen to your concerns? 2. Was the doctor willing to read information that you brought in. On the flip side did he or she give you information about your condition to help you educate yourself about your health. 3. How were you treated by his staff before and after you appointment? 4. Could you recommend this doctor to anyone else? If so why? if not Why?

Remember you are a consumer when it comes to your health. You can fire your doctor just like you fire a bad employee.

Second of all it is POSSIBLE to have kids even tho you have PCOS. There are many many many women who have PCOS and have children. It makes me Mad as Hades that a doctor could take your hope away (and I know this feeling all too well, the doctors told me come back when you want to have kids).

third,he only wants to make an appointment IF my
husband comes with me. is this weird or what? your response will be
greatly appreciated. also, the pills have not stopped the bleeding or
the cramps, should i call and get something stronger? thank you.

Did he explain to you why he wanted your hubby to come in with you? Having your hubby, boyfriend, or partner go with you is not a bad thing. When I went in to get my PCOS diagnosis, I took my boyfriend Pat with me because I was scared witless.

You need to call and get the bleeding taken care of. its not healthy that you have been bleeding that long without a break.
