Hi Cris, my 16 year old has PCOS and wasn't diagnosed until last August. I would certainly look into this. I would have her tested for Insulin Resistance. My daughter is IR and is on metformin. She had rapidly gained weight last year. She is doing much better, feels better, weight is coming off, hair growth is better. Feel free to email me privately.
