New here, live in Europe and searching for answers ;-)))From: Anne-Marije (anonymous@obgyn.net)Wed, 29 Mar 2000 03:17:26 -0600 (CST)
Hello, My name is Anne-Marije, I'm 27 years old, I have PCO and am overweight (this reads like AA :-). I'm from The Netherlands. I'm still reading up on PCOS and Syndrome X and I feel I have a lot more questions and less answers than before. In addition to PCOS I have a very slow metabolism, which makes it harder for me to lose weight. I've tried with a 600 calorie diet and working out 4 times a week, but since my son was born, I haven't found the time nor the energy... Can anyone explain how this Carbohydrate-diet works? And what to do if your doctor knows nothing about PCOS? She just laughs and says I have to work on accepting my weight... I'm beginning to feel pretty depressed about all of this. The one thing I'm happy about is my son Storm (he was conceived after high dosage Provera and Clomid). Please help me out...
