It has only been a couple of weeks, but I am going to try to remember this and I may get it wrong. If I am wrong, let me know.

If I am remembering correctly, you had fairly low glucose but your insulin went a little over level in the middle of your test for a couple of hours. I do not remember what I said before but it seems like your levels were slightly over. I would probably told you that your dr may diagnose you as slightly IR. This would be because at the end of two hours, your insulin should have returned to nearly normal. I can tell you that my dau was diagnosed with IR when she had a 40 insulin level at the end of two hours. Her sugar was normal. Since your levels were so close to normal, you may just need repeat testing in the future to keep an eye on this.

Having said that, some drs are using metformin for women who are not insulin resistant because of the good results they have had. Check out Dr. Glueck's page http://blues.fd1.uc.edu/~gartsips/polycyst.htm

I know this will probably not help but I looked over the thread that was listed and I remember the conversation but not the specifics.
