Hi to one and all, I started on met. very slowly with a careful eye from my endo. He had me come in for consultations before going up the next level. He also advised me to have some one around just in case the worst happened (ie severe illness). I started on a weekend to get things under control before work. I first staarted taking the met. in the middle of my meal with milk. My grandmother who was a nurse--also told me "If it says take with food----go with milk." I noticed this helped me. I had very light rounds of neausa, but did have the other symptoms. I am now taking the met. at the start of my meals with milk. I started on "The Zone" by Berry Sears,PHD and started walking a mile and a half with my walking friend. I walk three to five times a week, but most often three or four. I started with a diet. and recently started on the dietabetic way of eating. To date--with drug changes, eating style changes,exercise and will power 22 pounds. I have 15 more to go---but I am not alone and I can do it! >> would suggest that you take 1 pill (with your largest meal of the day)
