The jaundice girl found out why she has jaundice! From: Amy (anonymous@obgyn.net)Tue, 28 Mar 2000 16:11:39 -0600 (CST)
Hey, everybody. I really didn't leave you, I was just very busy. Anyway, the reason I'm writing is because all of you told me I must go to the dr for my yellow eyes (yes, I have jaundice). The dr tested me and most of the tests are fine. However, you know when I kept telling you I was sick w/ various things they were all one thing. The dr said I had mono as well as Hepatitis A, but they have both finally passed, although I may still feel like " ". I just wonder who I got them from and if I gave them to anyone else. And no Hep. A is not the same as B, so don't worry, it's gone now. Anyway, just wanted to let you know what was going on for those who cared. Hopefully, I'll have good health in the future. You know when I started this process of getting diagnosed w/ PCOS in September, I was basically told it was all in my head because I don't have cysts on U/S, even though I have nearly every other symptom imaginable. Then I kept getting sick (but so did everyone else in my family), I just happened to be sicker for a longer amount of time. I was relieved to know I was not a hypochondriac (although a 101.9 fever is good enough to say I wasn't). I'm just glad that even though those things sound like horrible illnesses to have, it could have been worse and it could have been a form of Hepatitis that doesn't go away, I was just lucky. That's enough my spiel, I'll let you read someone else's messages now. Amy
