Hello, My name is Bodie, I am 24 and have been married for 4 years. I was diagnosed in March of 2000, but have had problems w/PCOS since I was old enough to have periods. I can't thank PCOSupport's web site enough for helping me understand what my doctors can not. I feel that we all should take a stand, write your letters to Oprah. We together can make this happen. The longer we wait the longer we're going to be miss understood. I have gone to doctors feeling like its a lost hope. All because they aren't informed. They don't know how to help me. We all are very special, we have to get this syndrome noticed. If not for ourselves then for the women who will be diagnosed in the coming years. I know that there are doctors out there that know whats going on, and can help some of us. We have to get ALL doctors informed on PCOS and if getting Oprahs attention is the way to get it out there to the public then lets do it girls!!! Almost everybody I've talked to in person has no clue that PCOS even exsists. With PCOS I have had to really look into myself. I have had to rethink my life. Just like all of you have had to. I can't just cry anymore, I can't just stand there and feel sorry for myself! I have to do something about it! Please take this letter to heart. All of you have helped me, because I know that I am NOT ALONE. Thank you!
