Re: Dosage for Glucophage? Q for Belle or anyone elseFrom: Anon (anonymous@obgyn.net)Tue, 28 Mar 2000 13:06:03 -0600 (CST)
Thanks again, Belle! I thought I was at the low end of the dosage range. Guess I am. Maybe this doctor wants to limit the dose until he knows whether I need more. I don't want to take more than is necessary. I am checking (with my endo) into dropping off of my bcp. I had a tubal ligation with the last C-section. I know the bcp in and of itself adds weight on me. I had thought I needed it to help regulate the female hormones. After reading your recent posts, I realized that the other meds may do what the bcp does in this respect. My ins. does not cover as much of my bcp as it does the other meds. Besides that, the inositol and the chromium seem to be helping me the most at this time. So, I am thinking it might be fine to drop the bcp. Anyway, I called the endo's ofc to ask. Thanks for being there for me and the others here! :~)
