My doctor told me that if I lost weight, it would be easier to get pregnant, but
did not mention anything about IR. I lost quite a bit of weight before becoming
pregnant with each of my two children (with great effort), but immediately gained
it back with each pregnancy. Six months ago, I began a low carb diet
(Carbohydrate Addicts Diet), I've lost 32 pounds and I feel great. I wish I
would've known about this diet years ago... it is so much easier for me than any
low fat diet I've tried before.
>From what I have read, exercise and lowering of insulin levels through dieting
will help regulate your cycles and in turn allow you to ovulate and become
pregnant. It worked for me!
