Re: prometriumFrom: anonymous@obgyn.netTue, 28 Mar 2000 12:11:06 -0500
Paula, I'm glad you are seeing a different doctor. Just remember, this is YOUR life and it will be what you make of it. I know this is mentally taxing and it is hard to keep smiling when you feel terrible all the time but it you approach your doctors with the knowledge and a good plan of action they will see that you mean business and the bottom line for the doctor is busines. Good luck & God Bless Leeza -----Original Message----- From: anonymous@obgyn.net [mailto:anonymous@obgyn.net Sent: Tuesday, March 28, 2000 11:32 AM To: Multiple recipients of list PCOS Subject: prometrium this is in response to tiffani.i was also put on prometrium and it did nothing but make me have a period. it really sucks that our health is in the hands of these doctors, because i went to the doctor last week and asked for metformin.my nurse told me to take the prometrium and the loestron pills, not to worry about what i read in woman's day, because i could be reading a lot of bull, plus said she has never heard of metformin.i flipped out.i will be seeing another doctor on april 13.hopefully he'll have a more open mind.prometrium and bcp has done nothing but make me gain weight and very irratable.good luck and ask for met.
