Re: Head and face: sweat attacks & Q for Belle

I'd like to know if excessive sweating and/or night sweats is related to PCOS? I have both, but I've been pretty well able to deal with the daily stuff, but the nightly stuff was a nightmare. I would wake up from such severe night sweats that my entire head would be ringing wet and my nightgown plastered to my chest. I was 40 when this started. They ended up putting me on hormone therapy. It has helped tremendously for the night sweating. It has been a real challenge to get the menstral cycles correct. I don't ovulate due to lack of an inoperable hypothalmus gland, and therefore, I'm infertile. I just learned of PCOS from a magazine article, but I have suffered with all of the symptoms most of my life. I have a first doctor's visit to discuss, so wish me luck.
