Please helpFrom: Steven (anonymous@obgyn.net)Mon, 27 Mar 2000 22:50:06 -0600 (CST)
My wife had her testosterone levels tested in January and it showed a very high level (661ng/dl). She then had an ultrasound test which should a 4cm tumor on the ovaries. She then waited 8 weeks in pain(bladder problems) until her total hysterectomy on March 10th. The doctor said the ovaries had a yellowish color and the operation was a success. After three days in the hospital she was sent home. Her first night home she felt very agitated and highly sexualy stimulated. Each day I noticed erratic behavior in what was a highy stable individual. By the 8th day I rushed her to the ER where she was admitted to the psych ward and diagonosed with mania. Does anyone have any insight to this problem? I feel abandoned by the medical profession and have not gotten any answers. I am desperate. PLEASE HELP
