Dosage for Glucophage? Q for Belle or anyone elseFrom: Anon (anonymous@obgyn.net)Mon, 27 Mar 2000 19:49:53 -0600 (CST)
Belle, I keep seeing where others are taking 1500 mg or 2000 mg of the Met. I am on 1000 mg per diem. Is there a set amount which is considered ideal for all of us or is it that the doctors should tune the dosage to the individual?? I have always assumed the latter, but today wondered about my assumption. (You know what they say about assuming.) Do the doctors know what is best yet or is it too soon to know? I have never found anything in the medical lit to support a set dosage. Maybe you (or another cybercyster) have seen such. Thanks a bunch!
