Old Vs. New Boards

Hi all:

I thought I would address the old vs. new board issue. In my other life, I am the PCOSupport webmaster and I helped make the descision about moving the board.

Basically we had the same issues come up over and over again in the first 7 months I was webmaster with the old board.

1) The old board would fill up and when it was full, I'd get a slew of e-mails letting me know and asking if there was anyway to increase the number of messages. (this was happening even with Brenda A. going through and cleaning it off daily). The constant fullness of the board because a real problem when the Woman's Day Article came out. We just couldn't keep up.

2) People repeatedly expressed that they wished they had an archive of board messages that they could review when they were looking for specific pieces of information.

PCOSupport listened to what you had to say, and OBGYN.net expressed the desire to help us achieve a long term archive of the board.

I know changes are hard and we have had a lot of changes on the web site because of the phenominal coverage PCOS has been getting in the news lately. But we do listen to what you all have to say.

Paula
