Hi. I have had an excessive sweating problem AND REALLY BAD ARMPIT ODOR to go along with it for over 20 years!!! I have always assumed it went along with my PCOS. The main problem for me has been the odor, which stays in my clothes. I too have ruined many a blouse with excess deodorant--the armpits turn yellow after a while. But the problem that I have had has been the strong odor in my armpits AND in my clothes. For my clothes, I use Arm & Hammer detergent and for my armpit odor I use the Amway antipersperant deodorant Body Series. I don't sweat a lot with the deodorant, but the problem is that after a few hours, my armpits start smelling. But it is the most effective deodorant I have found for the odor so far. Does anybody know if the other deodorants suggested on this board (Driclor, Avon deodorant and Spironolactone) help with the odor as well as the perspiration?

I have just found the PCOS discussion boards (this one and the previous one) in the past few weeks and it has really helped me not to feel alone and desperate. Thank you all so much for the support.
