You results do sound normal. Since we do not have a glucose tolerance test with insulin levels, it is impossible to tell how your insulin is reacting in responce to glucose. Fasting levels mean very little since you can have wonderful fasting levels and still be insulin resistant (my daugher is one of these people). If you are eating a low carb diet, this could affect all of these test results.

If your dr is not explaining things well enough for you, you need to ask questions (maybe call in or write questions down before you go). If you are still not satisfied, you may need to seek out assistance from someone else.
