The only difference to my story is that we had unprotected sex for 6 years before my daughter was conceived via GIFT. Also, I suffered from hypoglycemia until I started taking Metformin. An endocrinologist or reproductive endo is the right doc to see. S/he will likely test your LH/FSH and testosterone levels. If s/he is up to date on pcos, you will also have an oral glucose tolerance test with insulin levels.
