any connection to knee pain?From: fran (anonymous@obgyn.net)Fri, 24 Mar 2000 15:58:29 -0600 (CST)
My 21 year old daughter has never gotten her period more than 3 times in a year and has had excessive facial hair since she was 11 or so. She has had a more debilitating medical problem during that time period - excruciating knee pain. She has been diagnosed with everything under the sun - Lyme Disease, Fibromyalgia, Plica Tissue Syndrome (had surgery) and finally, an improperly tracking knee cap. The April issue of Health Magazine was the first time I ever heard of Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome. HAS ANYONE EVER MADE A CONNECTION BETWEEN PCOS AND KNEE PAIN? We are considering MORE surgery and I'd like to rule this out. Thank you for you input.
