Kim,
When you have chronic pelvic pain, so many things can cause it.
Approximately 20% of women with chronic pelvic pain have pelvic varicose
veins (Pelvic Congestion Syndrome --PCS).
Ultrasound really can only reveal some problems. I went years
undiagnosed until I had a laparoscopy. That is when the doctor saw
first hand that there were swollen veins in the area I was reporting
chronic pain. None of this showed on ultrasound. Hormones have a
tremendous effect on the veins and BC pills and syneral have both helped
me at times.
You can see the message I sent Karen a little earlier for some details.
You can get more details by searching Snap.com search engine for pelvic
congestion.
Pelvic congestion Syndrome is very misunderstood in the medical
community. So please keep in touch with me here or privately. So many
women with chronic pelvic pain are quite desperate and we can help each
other. Feel free to contact me anytime.
thanks.
