I am awaiting a phone call from the doc. He believes I have PCOS. I have been trying to find out what was wrong with me for years. I am now 28 and have been trying to have a family with my loving husband for 7 years. No luck. Two weeks ago, I told a home pregnancy test, positive. So I found this new doctor, we just moved here a year ago. He has been so wonderful in trying to find out what is wrong. Anyway, most likely I have a blighted ovam (sp?) and PCOS. I am so upset. My old doctor could have and should have found this out years ago. I have most all of the symptoms and have had them since I was a teenager. I am excessively over weight, have facial hair, and irregular periods. I am scared that I may never have a baby. Anyone trying to get pregnant or anyone successful with birth? I am so lucky to have a wonderful new doctor and husband to help me through this. I just wish this could have been diagnosed sooner.
