Another road block...
Finally contacted my doc today & all that she told me was that both my insulin &
glucose levels were 'normal!' Maybe so, but my body certainly isn't!! She
proceeded to inform me that my glucose was 89 and insulin 12.9. She only had me
fast for 10 hours and only did 1 blood test.....is she missing something in order
to determine if I am IR?? I'm sure that many of you are aware that it is pretty
difficult to find a physician who completely understands PCOS & IR. Was this the
correct test to diagnose IR or is there another test I should insist that I go
through? What does it consist of?? I'm just worried that she will stop here &
I'll be without answers again. :-( Thanks so much! All your help is
appreciated!!!
