Hi Liz, Yes two of my daughters with PCOS have done periods every two weeks. My other daughter was only having a period every 6 to 9 months. It is definitely still PCOS. Christine Gray who is the founder of the support group was diagnosed with PCOS and was having a period every other week. It is a sign of not ovulating just as much as not having periods. The uterine lining builds up but when no ovulation takes place there is a progesterone deficiency and so the lining sheds. It probably never sheds completely. Some women with PCOS have too much estrogen as well as too much testosterone and some have a low estrogen level with a high testosterone. Whether you have low or high estrogen women with PCOS always have low progesterone.
