Just read your post. I see you can't take birth control either. You should inform your doctor about the "program" of medications I'm on. Maybe they will work. First there is the Aldactone...which i said before lowers your androgen, then I take a drug called medroxyprogesterone which you take for 7 day in row every month...it tells your body to have a period. These two have sorted me out giving me normal periods. You don't need to be taking birth control to fix your periods. You should also have a test to see if you are insulin resistant. It is like the opposite of diabetes in that you can produce way too much insulin. I read that you have weight problems like me. I didn't have a clue that my insulin was so overproducing that all the carbs I ate pretty much went straight into fat. Well I hope I have helped...Liz
