The Cleveland Clinic is one of the best places for cancer treatment in the country, from what I know. Scott Hamilton the ice skater had gone there for cancer treatment. They also specialize in other areas. My brother, who has a rare genetic disorder that causes colon cancer, would like to see one of the doctors there, but has problems with his health insurance at this time. Mayo is one of the leading medical facilities in the U.S. Many times, people who are very sickly in our area (Michigan's U.P.) are referred to Mayo and receive excellent care & results. (Many doctors here also send out special tests to Mayo). It is up to you which place you want to go to, but they both should have toll-free numbers that you can call and talk to someone in the department you will be dealing with. The Cleveland Clinic even sends packets of information (my brother received a tremendous amount of material on his rare condition from the Cleveland Clinic.)

In either case, good luck to you and may your health improve soon.
