Re: Low Carbing & Hormone pill effect?From: anonymous@obgyn.netThu, 23 Mar 2000 15:07:09 GMT
Jenny Reading your comments .. can you tell me how long you have been on the Atkins and how it is going? Ive been on it for a little over 4 weeks now - lost dramatically in first two weeks (but I do on every diet - think it is water) and nothing since. Im not disheartened or anything . I find it easy to follow and have more energy than I have had in years. I am exercising and drinking PLENTY of water and taking chromium picolinate but cant get hold of pantetheine here in UK so taking pantothenic acid (which is close) Plus several other supplements recommended in his book. Like the other lady Im a little concerned whether the progesterone in the new coil I hav had fitted will have any affect on the diet. The new coil (Merina) has been fitted by my GYN in an attempt to stop the continual AF I have been experiencing. Any feedback on the Atkins at all would be gratefully appreciated. Tks and rgards Sam Phillips > Many things can stall your diet.. Are you checking your ketone levels?? Have you >been in Ketosis for the full 1 1/2 weeks? 3 pounsd is great for 1.5 weeks..
