Re: EXCESSIVE SWEATING?From: anonymous@obgyn.netThu, 23 Mar 2000 14:51:57 GMT
Hi :) I dont know if the sweating is connected to PCOS, but when I was your age (and a little younger) I suffered terribly with the same problem. I can only give you practical advise such as being careful to choose blouses and dresses in material that does not change colour when wet. My favourite trick in the shop changinroom would be to lick the inside of the hem just to test! (Sorry for anyone that bought a licked dress - it was only a little honest!) I have ruined many many dresses and blouses with excessive use of underarm deoderants which end up in the cloth under the arms and disclour the item too. My only offering of hope for you is that at 36 I dont seem to suffer the problem so much these days. Tho Im still careful about the fabrics I choose. I really do sympathise with you. Being young and wanting to be reasonable fashionable etc. Im not convinced that it is necessarily to do with being overweight either. At 19 I was 9st 3lbs (at 5'7")and if I went to a nightclub could come home drenched to my waist and hair plastered to my face! Most attractive <G>. HTH Sam
