According to him, the makers of Rezulin agreed with the FDA that the side effects with the liver (which I don't know at the moment but I am someone does) while rare, were too dangerous to continue making the drug. He did say though, that while Rezulin has been pulled other drugs in that group - watch me try to remember the name... rosiglitazones?? maybe?? - other drugs that work in the same way, such as Avandia, are perfectly safe.
