I live in Australia but my father is a pharmacist and pharmacy manager in California - I spoke to him today and he said Rezulin had been recalled entirely. According to him, the makers of Rezulin agreed with the FDA that the side effects with the liver (which I don't know at the moment but I am someone does) while rare, were too dangerous to continue making the drug. He did say though, that while Rezulin has been pulled other drugs in that group - watch me try to remember the name... rosiglitazones?? maybe?? - other drugs that work in the same way, such as Avandia, are perfectly safe. SO, if you have been on Rezulin, and it worked for you, try the others maybe? Hope that was helpful :) -Sonnet
