I have known I have PCOS for about 8 months (but have suffered for years), and it really helps to educate yourself. I am currently trying to be put on Metformin from my RE, and you have inspired me to try the low carb thing too! I am so lucky (like you!) to have a 5 year old daughter, we have always considered her our miracle baby because it took us so long to have her ! When I learned I had PCOS, she seemed even more like a miracle! Good Luck to you with your meds and weight loss, and thanks for sharing your story! >
-- Monica, Been out of commission for awhile with Strep throat of all things (I'm a children's librarian and usually get this stuff), so am just now reading your message. THanks for your reply and try the low carb thing I truly believe it has helped me a great deal, along with the glucophage.
