Just finding out about PCOS

I am 16 and just found out in October that I have this syndrome. I really became aware of how serious it is after reading an article in Woman Day Magazine. I was really surprised as to how serious this can be because I got the typical " loose weight and you'll be fine" response. My doctor put me on that pill and it regulated my period but I am worried that I may have cyst. My stepmother and my mother both are looking for an endocrinologist that can treat me but what should I expect? Do you think it’s likely that I have cyst? If so will they keep me from getting pregnant?

Thanks in advance, Dena
