Trouble with BCP

I started taking Ortho Tri-cyclen two years ago because I had not had my period in over five months. Last August I bled for three weeks straight. I went to a gyn who seemed to know a lot about PCOS and he put me on a new bcp. In January I had to see a new gyn and she put me back on Ortho Tri-cyclen. She told me that Ortho Tri-cyclen was better for patients with PCOS because it had different hormones than Lo/Ovral(which I had been taking since August). I have now begun the abnormal bleeding process again. I have been bleeding for a week so far and it is still going. Has anyone else had problems with this bcp?
