Dear Ginger,

Based on these numbers, I would agree with what you are being told. When you had the GTT, did they take two tubes of blood at each "stick", or just one. The reason I ask is that it often takes longer for the lab results for insulin to be returned and since you called, maybe they only had the results for the glucose.

The plan for smaller meals through out the day to maintain your sugar level sounds like a good plan for you. As long as your dr is taking your glucose/insulin levels seriously, you will be in good hands!
