This is the first i have about this, i wish i had heard earlier, she has been going through this since she was 16 and she is now 20,we live in a small town and i am wondering since most drs dont know what this is, what do i tell them , i have taken her before, and they just say that not having a period is not a health problem,and the facial hair wont hurt her, ( she is so shy because of it) (i am sure she has given up on dating and colage because of it,)she is moody alot,has alot of headackes and she has gained alot of weigth,she has dark patches under her arms and between her legs, ( which also embarses her),my mother is on insulin. but the dr didnt check her because she was so young,she did check her hormones and said they where fine, she also put her on the birth control pill, but my daughter said it didnt help so she stoped taking them ,we dont have insurance and i cant afford laser treamenet for her,but this is really effecting her life, and she one day would like to have kids, so if anyone out there would have any advice i would be very gratefull. thanks
