I have had 3 children and just recently a tubal ligation. Currently, I see an increase in unwanted hair growth on my face and loss on my head, and pain from many little cysts popping each month. My cycle is regular. Doctor says metformin is only for patients wanting to conceive. Is that so? Would it potentially help me with the other symptoms? Thanks.
