How interesting. I am going through similar stuff. I had been on
2000mg Glucophage for 5ish months and did not seem to notice problems
(minor stomach problems). Then work got very stressful and the
mail-order RX sent Met instead and I started having dizziness,
confusion, shakiness, panic attacks. I thought it was the work stress
and my family doctor started me on Zoloft for anxiety. I started
feeling better but not all the way. I laid off the Met for a couple of
weeks (I was going to eliminate a medicine at a time to try to figure it
out) and felt great. I have been slowly trying to add the Met back and
am having shakiness, etc. again.
I have called my endo's office several times explaining that I believe I
am having trouble with the Met. They had me go to Glucophage RX and
after a week I am still having trouble. I have been asking them for a
blood sugar meter so I could check my own blood sugar, but they want to
wait and talk to me at my usual appt. in 1.5 months.
I have not idea what's going on! Anyone else have this?
