Been surfing the net to find answers myself and was somewhat relieved to find that I wasn't alone. Was diagnosed to have PCOS and was prescribed metformin. Initially, had to take 1 a day on my first week, 2x/day the 2nd week & finally 3x/day on the 3rd week. Each time I took a new dosage, I felt nauseous, I was vomitting, was suffering from diarrhea, then I'd be somewhat fine on the 4th day of the week. But its ugly symptom/side effects never seems to go away. Just two days ago, also had a bit of a scare to notice that my hair was thinnning, thought I was balding. Been hounding my doctor about it, but she says it's normal. If there was any good that came out of it though, I lost 10 pounds in 2 months and my period has been regular so far. Nevertheless, I too wonder when will all its sympstoms end. Just sharing. Thanks, Rosalette
