I began taking Glucophage 1000mg once a day and happily started my period after 2.5 days of starting it. I haven't even seen the results of my glucose tolerance test yet, but began the med anyway. In the first week of this treatment I have lost three pounds, haven't had any headaches, and have a feeling of well being that I have been missing.
