I have no idea if I've had experience with this or not! :) Anyway, I do have some clomid experience. It didn't work for me until much higher doses but it did eventually work and I have a three year old for my troubles. Stick with it, watch your carb intake (nothing extreme but sensible complex carbs instead of the junk), and RELAX. It may not work the first cycle or two. They start you out at a very low dose to decrease your chances of multiples. This is generally not enough for the average person and the chances may be less for someone with PCOS. When I did get pregnant it was when I did NOT monitor my cycle but instead, at the direction of our doctor, had intercourse every three days starting about three days out from stopping the clomid. My doctor said the timing and stress can be a hinderance to getting pregnant. How? I'm not sure. It doesn't sound all that scientific to me. But I'm inclined to believe him at this point simply because I had tried for 6 cycles previously (monitoring and timing and charting the whole way through) and never conceived. Did it his way for one month and whamo I was pregnant. Of course, do what your doc recommends but keep in mind that this isn't something you should let consume your sense of well being. :) Take care! I hope it works right off! mira
