Please, do not misinform. "Metformin helps even if you are not insulin resistant". An insulin sensitizing agent, such as metformin, can help you even if you don't have at least some degree of insulin resistance??? Where's the logic? It's simply not true. Sorry.

Maybe you should ask your doctor to shed some light on the action mechanism of metformin. Then, you'll understand that it can only help you if you have glucose intolerance or some degree of insulin resistance.
