-- I was having the exact same issues with Metformin and asked my doctor to switch me to Glugophage XR (time release version of Metformin/Glugophage) and I have found it to be much gentler on my system. You might ask to try it for a month and see if you like it better. I take one dose before bed and that's it. Good luck and hang in there.
