Supposed to block fat from being absorbed by the body. I am on Metformin and have had some sucess in losing 44 lbs since December. At my last appointment he gave me a trial of Xenical and told me that I could give it a try; take one with my evening meal. My insurance does not cover this type of medication so I would have to pay out of pocket. Just wondering if it is worth the expense.
