Thank you for replying. That's interesting your doctor said the boils
might be prediabetic or related. My grandmother had diabetes. After
her death I learned from Aunts that she too had many boils all her life.
I wonder now if I might be or will be diabetic. I also heard that the
scar left behind from a boil if it is dark in color (which all of mine
are) is a sign on insulin resistance. I am new to all of this PCOS,
Diabetes, and Insulin Resistance ( I don't even know what I.R. means).
I am really glad this board exits. It helps me asks qts and ideas of
other qts to ask my doctor. Good lick AmyK and all my other Cyster's :)
