Initially, Ihad tremendous GI side effects, especially after eating anything carby. However, I altered my diet to a whole-grain, high protein diet and have lost about twenty pounds in six months (I also have struggled with weight most of my life). I am now feeling energetic and much better. THe GI effects have also lessened and are manageable (as long as I don't indulge in pasta or rice or anything like that). Keep positive and moving. I ovulated on my own in about 3 months and I now get my period every 30-32 days. I'm trying to conceive #2 -- wish me luck! Hang in there -- Glucophage is good stuff. Kim
